I randomly stumbled upon [up and coming] MSGM on Moda Operandi and so glad I did! My obsession with color and mixed prints continues. And this Spring Collection puts it all into perfect harmony. The silhouettes are simple and wearable but the prints give each thread such a bold statement! He really put a refresher on tribal print.. something I was beginning to get tired of. Majorly. His usage of color, combining those colors, and mixing it with different textures and prints are divine. I think it really speaks to a generation who is feigning for something [fashionably] exciting, a little more edgy, and a lot less branded.
Oh, and I’m head over heels for those turbans.
I almost feel like this is the perfect opportunity to make a purchase before Massimo Giorgetti makes it bigĀ [because you know he will with designs like that.] Because once he’s at the top.. so are the prices!! I don’t even think any US [brick and mortar] stores are carrying the line at the moment. All the more reason to indulge in a kaleidoscope world of beautifully mixed shapes, textures, colors and more.
Dreaming of a kaleidoscope world.
