I’ve been talking about going into the fall/winter season but it still feels so much like summer! The last several weeks have been spent in a bikini on the beach. I cannot tell you how enjoyable that is. I have been living in my bikini. Especially the few Mikoh suits I own. Brooke and I were talking about how much we love their suits. We are counting down the days until they arrive on the North Shore and hold one of their sample sales. I’ve decided I am saving up all my pennies and buying every style that fits. I want them all!!
What I love so much about Mikoh and all the other bikini companies [that have appeared over the last couple of years] is their understanding of bikini culture. Before these girls there were only surf brands and designer swimwear. No in between. So on one end [surf brands] there is an understanding of fit and the surfing lifestyle but no sense of quality or trend. On the other end [designer] there is an understanding of fashion and seasonal trend but no functionality or wearability. Now we can have the best of both worlds and a plethora of options. Finally. Bikini brands that know what its like to lose a pair of bottoms in the line-up and have a bit of fashion sense!! It’s so refreshing to have these girls bikini trend and finally get the right fit for our bikini lines!! It’s the best time to be 20-something and living in a bikini!
