I feel like the first [real] winter swell is natures way of letting us know the season has officially started. I really love the beginning of the winter season. Its like the calm before the storm. There are big monstrous swells [and fun little ones for mini wave sliders] and the circus hasn’t come around quite yet. It’s nice to be a part of the energy of the waves without the crowds of people.
I got to spend the day with my photo sister and another laying in the sand, getting washed by the waves. Our skin got the right amount of kiss from the sun, our hair washed by the waves in just the right way. It was a perfect way to start the season!
