The mister and I spent last weekend [and than some] on Kaua'i for a little bit of work and a little bit of play. I am so excited for some of the things I am working on and absolutely terrified at the same time. So terrified [on the inside] that I hardly want to talk about it. I really am the greatest critic of my work and hope it all works out.
But more importantly; we did some major playing.
We spent most of our time with our friends Ashley and Bryce, a crazy talented creative duo on the island. Ashley is a graphic designer and owner of Lucky We Live Hawai'i and Bryce is a photographer. Both are incredible visionaries doing a whole lot of creative good.. all on their own.
We had a couple of really fun slide sessions including an ankle snapper day on the south side. I am so impressed with Bryce's visual talent. It honestly puts my photography to shame. But such an encouraging and humbling experience at the same time. I love coming together with other creative people and feeding off each other in the best possible ways.
He captured this evening so vibrantly. We were the only ones out besides a couple of groms on the inside. Rebekah from Goldfish Kiss and her man even jumped in for the sunset session. It was the best way to end our day.
I am really hoping trips to Kaua'i and these slide sessions will be a regular thing. Fingers crossed.
