I occasionally go through these unreasonable shopping sprees [or fake ones anyway.] It usually happens when I have very little disposable income and a big hunger for material things. The problem is.. I already went on a major shopping spree for the outdoor, backpacking sort. Nothing fashion. So naturally.. I build my usual online shopping carts and hope one night [when I am sleep-deprived and feeling really vulnerable] I'll "accidentally" order everything. Oops!
I just recently had a conversation with a couple friends about my shopping problem. I mean, I don't really see it as problem if I am getting a really good deal, right? It's like the fashion coupon collector [that would make a great url.] I don't usually buy things full price but know when to snatch something before its gone. And I'm not the only one. A fellow fashion-savvy friend [who is the same way] referred to it is as, "having top-shelf taste on a beer budget." I'll take it.
But I thought no better way to celebrate the coming of spring then a little splash of splurge. I love the idea of having a well-coordinated beach outfit for those sunny, cloudless days. I loved Cynthia Rowley's wetsuits ever since she did the collaboration with Roxy and already made a much needed Kiini purchase. And nowadays, I am obsessed with protecting my skin and Coola is the best way to do that! Skin is the one thing I am willing to spend a lot money and Coola is organic and #1 Dermatologist recommended [and I found a deal on Amazon for all you fashion coupon clippers!] Your skin is the biggest organ on your body.. protect it!! I have also been on the market for a mirrorless camera and might take the plunge soon. I thought Fujifilm was producing the best one thus far. Add a cute leather sandal from Joie, pack it all in an Eliza Gran pom pom basket and I am ready for the beach!
But, until I have the top-shelf taste and budget.. I will be waiting to get a deal on these goodies [although it is really tempting to max out my credit card now!!]
