I got to spend this past weekend on the Kona Coast soaking up the sun and enjoying some down time with family. Every time I go back to the Big Island I wish I never had to leave. Hanging out on Hapuna Beach was especially nice. It reminded me of childhood minus all the sunburn and incredibly large hole digging sessions. The beach seemed a lot bigger back then. But the water was just as clear and the sun just as bright.
My dad said he thinks people should be allowed to go on vacation every weekend to unwind and relax. I think he’s right. I’m all for it. I’m still hoping to retire at 30 but if we could check into a hotel at the end of each week I wouldn’t mind waiting until I’m 40. Hahhha. (; Unfortunately, we’re dreamers and instead we all just need to find our own glimpses of vacation.. even if it doesn’t include room service.
