I finally had the chance to sit down and go through all the photos from our Southern California adventure the other week. It was such a fun little trip. Maybe even a little too short. We didn't get nearly as much wave-logging and friend-spending as we should have. There were a lot more spots I wanted to surf and a lot more friends I wanted to hang out with.
But nonetheless, it was a nice little San Diego to Los Angeles sampler. There are several things we did that I highly recommend:
- Hanging out in old town Mission San Juan Capistrano
- The Hazelnut Paris Brest at Republique in Beverly Hills
- Riding bikes on The Strand
All other activities are quite obvious: surfing and hanging out at the beach. Any beach, really. The weather was so nice while we were there. And it all ended too soon.
Getting our taste of those West Coast thrills.
