I thought bringing my vintage fur coat to Europe was a little ridiculous. Being cold-weather fashionable and packing light does not go together. Packing extra coats take up a lot of room and even though I try really hard to be fancy on my trips.. I have to face it. I am not a fancy girl. I am a campervan loving, non-hair washing, get my hands dirty kind of traveller [who also likes to have fancy dinners and buy beautiful things.]
I didn't even wear my coat throughout Spain and France since the weather was abnormally warm. I highly considered sending it home with my friend but everyone convinced me to take it with me to Iceland. And I am so glad I listened. It was freezing in Northern Iceland. The temperature was bearable but the wind was insane. Biting to the bone, really. I am so happy I had it to battle the cold. I surely would've shriveled up into a little ball of ice if I didn't. Surely.
When It's Cold Outside.. wear fur!
